I would imagine the number is enormous! Sorry I don’t know the answer but I found out that a TINY pharmacy around the corner in the village where I live, gives out over 20000 prescriptions a year. If I’d had to guess, I’d have thought it was less than 2000. It’s an enormous problem – with so many prescriptions dished out – the number of addicts will be huge.
